Hi! This is Jean here and I am the creator of mochi buddies.
First and foremost, thank you for dropping by my website and taking time out to read more!
I’m an illustrator based in Singapore. Since young, I loved drawing! Drawing brings me a lot of comfort, especially when I feel stressed out or feeling sad.
I started creating content for mochibuddies since 2018. I converted to do mochibuddies full time in 2021 amidst the pandemic leaving my 9-6pm job. During the pandemic, I started to realise that I should start to pursue what I truly wish to and doing something I am passionate about.
Story.
Like a mochi, we are always pounded with difficulties that we face in our lives and sometimes forced to make harsh but important decisions which helps us to be moulded into a better person. Inspired by the Japanese rice cake, mochi, Mochi Buddies are created to remind each and everyone of us that no matter how much of a beating that we take, it always comes out sweet.
